Money, Money, Money

It's time for tax preparation again, and a big fat refund.

I just got done completing my taxes for myself and husband, and will be working on my two brother’s taxes as well, when it just came across to me on how easy this is, I mean, I have been doing my own taxes for at least six years now. So, it totally astonishes me that people will hurl up their paperwork, and run into a tax preparation service office and pay much too much to type in answers to easy questions. Not only will it cost you an arm and a leg, just for completing your taxes, but it will more than likely cost you much of your time waiting in line to complete your taxes as well.

And, I hate to say it, but, those who are willing to pay an arm and a leg, and waste their time, are doing so to pay more money to these quick refund companies to get their tax money to them in a faster way. So, one will probably pay, give or take, $300.00 or more to get a refund quicker (not really much quicker than e-filing yourself) may be by two to three days or so. That adds up to be about $100.00 a day one is willing to pay to get their refund quicker.

Huh? What ever is the rush that you can’t wait three days? Whatever it is, one waited this long for tax time to come around, surely one can wait another three days. But then again, we do live in a society of “I need it Now”, “I can’t wait”. Is it fair to assume that these individuals have probably spent their refund, if not physically, than in their minds already, prior to even having the check in their hands?
