Giving presentations need not to be stressful. You have nothing to worry about if you know your material and your subject very well. Remember the following if you wanted to give an ideal presentation.
- Take a deep breath first to get rid of uneasiness and smile. Introduce yourself and explain the subject of your presentation.
- Speak clearly and loud enough that everyone can hear you. The audience would be able to enjoy your presentation if they can understand what you are trying to present. Take note also to speak in a normal pace - not too fast and not too slow.
- During your presentation, make an eye contact with different people in your audience. You may glance at your notes occasionally.
- Watch your time. If you're not given any time limit, it is better to consume lesser to avoid boredom. This could ensure that your audience will stay interested.
- Be ready for any questions. This is a good sign that your listeners are paying attention. When you receive question, try to repeat it so that the others would be able to hear it. It would also give you the chance to clarify the question being raise to appropriately answer it.
Don't forget to thank your listeners when you are done. Speaking in a crowd would be a lot easier now that you have some tips to guide you.
