Money saving techniques

A few tips on saving money that i think you'll find quite useful, save thousands within a year.

  • Well People buy a lottery ticket every week, don’t they? Some people gather up every penny they can find just to afford one. So why don’t you have that same attitude, except instead of buying the lottery ticket, you put the money aside and make a savings. If a Lottery ticket costs 6 dollars a week and you save away for a whole year that’s $312 dollars, 2 years that’s $624 dollars, 3 years that’s $948 dollars put that in a bank for a year at an interest rate of 7.30%, that’s almost another 70 dollars for doing nothing at all, and if you were saving that year you’d have $1324.04 bucks, If you think like that for other items you’d have more money in no time.

  • Have a high interest bank and make a savings account, an untouchable account that gathers interest. Make an automatic payment of around 15 dollars a week into that account. And by the end of the year you would of saved away $780 and plus the interest on that.

  • Have certain weeks where you go without a certain luxury.

Hi I'm trying to save up for a trip to Europe after I graduate. Your tip on just putting 15$ a week into a savings account is the best idea i've heard for saving, thanks a lot. Go Noles.
