It must be so fun working in a call center all day long! This job let's us meet new people everyday and while some are really nice to us, others are a bit rude up to the point where our mom get insulted too.
How to Deal with Such Situations? So Easy
- Explain the costumer you don't have to pay for the product or service failures and you are just there to help them with their problems that the costumer can handle!
- Ask the costumer to call later and meanwhile you are going to research further his problem. That way the costumer will be handled by your work colleague.
- Tell the costumer that he will get much better results he he just calm down and listen carefully to what you have to say. To bad most of them think that by just insulting you they will get much better results. How wrong they are.
- Finally say goodbye to the costumer politely and say you are not paid to handle impolite costumers. I am sure he will never insult you again.
Most costumers think you are just as someone they can blame for all their problems and life failures and if you are a human relationship expert you can even turn the angriest costumer into your friendliest costumer. All you need to do is to have a little patience and listen (just listen!) to what the costumer has to say!
