Nine Reasons to Quit Your Job

Some useful suggestions on when you should quit your job.

Here are 9 reasons for quitting your job in no particular order of importance.

Lack of job satisfaction

You should not be doing anything if the passion or drive for it is gone. Once the passion quits it sure is time for you to quit the job.

Redeeming the Time

The best years of your life are your youthful years when you have more strength and energy. Why choose to spend all of that energy helping another fulfill his dream. You should quit your job to be able to use your youth with all its energy to live your own dreams.

To spend more time with family

If you work at a job that takes you away from your family most of the time, you don't need that kind of job. You should quit any job that does not afford you enough time with your family. Make all the money you desire, succeed as much as you want and you will have failed if you lose your family or home.

To be independent

You need to be free so that you can pursue your own dreams. You should quit that job if you have a dream worth having and worth pursuing.

To get wealthy

You are never going to get wealthy earning wages from your boss. No job on earth can make a man wealthy or rich no matter how well paid that job is. You want be wealthy? Then quit that job before it is too late.

Health reasons

If the job is either putting too much strain on you or the job environment is hazardous to your health then it is time to quit that particular job. After all you need good health to be able to carry out the job.

Moral compromise

Everyone should have values and moral standards whether they are personal, societal or religious. Some may say who cares about morals as long as you are making money. However for the few people with integrity, if your job demands that you compromise any moral standards you have set for yourself it is jolly well time to throw in the towel and quit the job.

Undue stagnation

You have been doing the same thing for all of those years and have even been passed over for promotion. If the job has made a “lake” out of you instead of “river” then listen to me. Quit that job fast

A new job with better pay

Let's face it the reason a lot of us are working is for the pay. So if you get a job that pays better off cause you got to quit as soon as you can.
