Tired of Being Scammed

Work at home job opportunities that are a scam, or a waste of time.

Are you tired of work at home jobs that promise you a paycheck & don't deliver? I know I am. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a stay at home mom of 3, my husband works a full time job, and I have been looking for a legitimate work at home job, to make ends meet. I have spent many hours over the years trying this or that, wasting money on jobs that either don't exist or are a scam. I just want to find a job that I can do at home, and actually gives me a paycheck. I am willing to work; I'm just tired of getting ripped off. I worked outside my home for awhile when my two older kids were babies, but with the high price of daycare finally ended up quitting. My entire paycheck was going to daycare every two weeks, and I finally decided I could stay home & take care of my kids, or throw my paychecks out the window & let someone else enjoy my babies. I did daycare for awhile, but I live so far out, that it was kind of an inconvenience for the 2 families whose kids I took care of. So that put an end to that after awhile.

I have tried multiple different “work at home opportunities” to no avail. I checked into different envelope stuffing scams & postcard scams, you know the ones - you are supposed to get $1.00, $5.00, or whatever amount they are paying just for stuffing, labeling, & mailing envelopes, or labeling & mailing special postcards. First you send anywhere from $20.00-$30.00 or more for your supplies and information. Then you find out that you either have to pay for the envelopes, stamps & labels, or that if you send out 1000 envelopes or postcards, & only 2 people respond to your mailer, you only get paid for those 2.

Then I tried this other company; all I had to do was pass out their advertisements, with my special code on them. Whenever someone saw a flyer & called & used my code I'd get paid. Well, I put out flyers every where. I supplied the paper, my printer & ink, & even mailed some to my sisters in another state to pass out. I either never had 1 person call, or I just never got paid for them. There was another chunk of money wasted.

I've also sent for all this free info on “exciting career opportunities you can do in your spare time at home”. Please send X amount of money & you can get started on ________ right away. A lot of them are MLM & you have to buy their products & sell them & the people in your line or above you get a percentage of your profits. Then when you get people below you, you get a percentage of their profits. Not for me. First of all, I don't have a huge pile of money laying around to buy X amount of profit, & second, I don't want to be a part of MLM sales. I just want to do a job & get paid, not have to work my butt off selling something, so the people above me can enjoy my profit also.

Then there's those other websites; you pay $40.00 for a years subscription to unlimited legitimate work at home opportunities. I'm in one right now as a matter of fact. But it's a lot of the same stuff. You have to pay a company to order their information, or kits, or what ever it is, then you make hair bows, wood jewelry boxes, or sewing, etc., & your supposed to make so much money per piece, dozen, or case, & send them back to the company. Then they'll send you your paycheck & another kit. But if they don't think the items you made are good enough, you don't get paid. So basically you made their product for them for free.

Now they have this new thing, car advertising. Where you drive around with a companies advertisement on your vehicle, or their vehicle. The bigger the ad the more they pay you. You just have to drive so many miles a month for their advertising. The only catch is trying to find a company to pay you to advertise for them. Of course I've spent a lot of time on the web, and if you pay X amount of money to a certain website they'll give you the names of companies that will pay you to do this. The only problem is, since you don't have access to the info before hand, there's no guarantee there are companies in your area.

Then there are other jobs, certain companies will pay you to work for them at home at your convenience, provided you have this or that degree, or a couple years experience.

Then there's eBay& Amazon. If you have a ton of stuff to sell, & your going to make a lot of money, fine. But I checked out Amazon, & you have to pay so much a month, then say you sold a book. They automatically get another .99 from your sale, then another 10-15 percent of your profit. Well if you sold the book for $5.00 and after they get their share, you're not getting much, plus you still have to pay their monthly rate.

I am so tired of wasting my time and money to try & find a work at home job that's for real. I keep hearing they're out there, & I keep on hoping that one day I'll find one. If so, I'll keep you posted.
