ING Direct

OK. You’ve never heard about ING Direct before. It may not necessarily mean that you’ve been living under a rock. However, it may suggest that you are quite busy with other important things in your life.

What is ING DIRECT?

In layman's term, ING Direct is an Online Bank that allow its members to perform various types of transactions online. They do business online; there's no physical bank to walk into. To open an account, you must have an existing external checking account. However, you don't have to close your current bank account; you'll just have to link it to your new ING savings account. There are 3 ways to open a savings account with ING; you may open it online, download a form and mail it in or speak to someone on the phone. ING is also of Dutch origin.

Services:

Some of the services they offer are Savings Account, checking, Orange CD's, Orange Mortgage and Orange Home Equity. They have a professional waiting to assist you.

Benefits

The interests on the ING savings are one of the highest in the nation (check the ING web site for rates in your country.) Your interests are deposited into your account daily; therefore, the more money you deposit, the more interests they pay you. You actually see your interests daily. My favorite from ING is when you refer a friend, your friend makes $25.00 and you get $10.00. What? How does this work? Let's say you have an account with ING, you log into your account, go to the bottom of the home page after you log on. Click on the words “Refer a Friend,” and follow the instructions to send the email to your friend(s).

Please note, in order for your friend(s) to receive $25.00 and you receive $10.00 from ING, your friend must follow the instructions. He or she must open the account by using the link that you sent to them; He or she must deposit at least $250.00 in order to receive the bonus of $25.00. Unlike conventional banks where there are fees for almost everything, ING has no fees and there are no service charges.

Automatic Savings Plan (ASP) is another favorite of mine; you set-up for a certain amount to be withdrawn weekly, Bi-Weekly, Fifteenth and End of month or monthly from you external checking account and deposited into your ING savings. I call this one set it and forget it.

Conclusions

If you're more comfortable opening an account over the phone, ING also accommodate that. So what are you waiting for? Open a savings account with ING today; your money will grow.

That's what I'm talking about, you've provided real time information to the community about a company that you probably don't even work for. By the way, do you work for them?
