The Big Three is Changing

Another exec is water under the bridge as Yahoo falls behind social networking cult hero, Facebook.

The rats are fleeing the ship. As Yahoo teeters on the precipice of the Big 3 (Microsoft, Google, Yahoo?), VP of Sales Stratergy, Jacki Kelley has jumped ship and entered the waters, making everything both a little bit clearer, and a smudge more muddy.

For Yahoo it's all about morale and appearances and fresh blood. Facebook , now valued by Microsoft at 15 billion, have been sharpening their knives with surprising speed and finesse. Microsoft have a few more hard kicks left and Google has makimaki, but what does Yahoo have... AOL?

Some of the most interesting things about the way we understand the Internet have a tendency to surface when things are going badly. So what does Yahoo have to teach us about the way the Internet is evolving. For now, it is a caution sign, but tomorrow it could be a body bag.
