They made it as a joke, yet it turned out to be amazing. A few years after they came out with Team Fortress and Counter-Strike. Both were very amazing and popular. They slowly increased the number of video games, then a next-generation of computer gaming arrived. With this new game engine they started up on the project Half-Life 2.
When it was released, Valve put in an extra treat, Counter-Strike Source. These 2 games won multiple game of the year awards and yet, still selling millions of copies world wide! Half-Life 2 had an “Eye-Popping” Generation of graphics, and had a very addictive story line. You play as Gordon Freeman, fighting off the combine, which invaded earth. Counter-Strike Source on the other hand, lets you take a break from all the mess. You can play online, on local area connection, or even single player. You have the choice to add bots to play in the battle with absolutely no stupidity. Did I tell you, you can even have a microphone in game to talk with your friends!
All this was presented with Steam, a game hosting company. When you download steam for free from Steampowered.org, you get to talk with your friends with in game chat, and you can even download some demo's and videos! And the best part about it is when you buy a game, you don't have to move an inch! The game is instantly put onto your “Games” list and you can start to install it.
Overall, Valve is still making multiple games for multiple platforms, all which are amazing. Starting as a simple game and growing to Team-Fortress 2 and some of the most popular games in the world. Valve is most likely the best video game production company.
