Great Advertising Networks

If you want ads on your blog, you're probably looking for the best ad networks around. Here's a list of them.

There are 10000s of bloggers, and all of them want to try and increase their online income through good ad networks. For a lot of people, this can be a tough job, as a lot of ad networks have strange limitations, and prospective publishers must meet all sorts of requirements first. With all that in mind, I've compiled this short list of great advertising networks, all with a short review to help you choose which is the best for you.

Google Adsense

Google Adsense is run by, you guessed it, Google. It is probably the highest paying ad network around, but they are very strict when it comes to their Terms of Service. If you can obey all their rules though, Google Adsense can be a gold mine. Not only do you get paid for the normal ads such as banners and text ads, you can also get paid for installing a google searchbox on your site. This doesn't just provide more income, it also makes your site more attractive to your users! Google Adsense is undoubtedly the best ad network out there, for most people.

Widgetbucks

Widgetbucks is a relatively new player when it comes to the advertising industry, but they provide 100s of millions of hits per month on their network. Not only that, but they also have great customer support, a relatively low payout (of $50.00) and some very stylish ads. You can even get your ads in a bunch of different skins, such as the Apple IPhone skin. Widgetbucks also has regular new updates and a very easy to use control panel, which is always good for new users.

Bidvertiser

A lot of people complain about Bidvertiser, because they are very quick to ban their publishers. That is a myth though. They will only ban people, like Adsense will do, who break their rules. If you are "law abiding", they will be more than happy to assist you, and they have a super low payout of only $10, meaning you can get your payment quickly to help you support your site for the following weeks/months. Bidvertiser is also great because you can use your publisher earnings to spend on advertising, so you can attract more users to your site.

I've also heard a lot of good things about Yahoo Ad Publishing, but I have yet to get a chance to test it out, so I don't want to give a false review based on other people's experiences. That being said, Triond seem to be happy enough to use Yahoo on their sites, so it must be good enough for them. If so, it would appear that it is also good enough for us.
