Bail outs are for weenies. I come from a generation of "can do" Americans where phrases like "teach a man to fish and he'll never be hungry" mean something. I believe that if you can learn you can earn and that's what this article is about.
As the reality of the worldwide economic meltdown becomes apparent and the effects of it begin to be felt on "Main Street" it is more critical than ever for those who have the guts (I really wanted to say something else) to take their lives and futures into their own hands. Companies are already closing and there will be more to come. It's time to put it all on the line, screw up your courage and reclaim your dreams and desires. I'm going to show you how you can really HAVE IT ALL even in the worst of times.
It took me many, many years to learn that success means many different things to different people. With me like the majority of folks it was some undefined, pie-in-the-sky thing like having a lot of money, luxuries and spare time to spend it. The problem with that was the word success wasn't firmly anchored or linked to some other very important words like a plan and work. I never bothered to find out that to obtain all the things I wanted that I believed meant success required much more on my part. I thought that if I worked hard and remained honest, opportunity and wealth would some day show up on my doorstep. Boy, was I wrong!
I've had many jobs, owned businesses, traveled and lived abroad and still ended up with nothing. Oh sure, on some things I did make more money than others but I was never a "success" as I've described it. I should interject here that some would equate success with having a happy home life and being content with that. That's certainly to be desired and concentrated on, too. But for the purpose of this article I'll refine the meaning of success as being wealthy to some degree, having the things that money can buy and leisure time to enjoy it all. I'm successful now and I want to teach you how you can be, too.
I mentioned that success should be linked to some other attributes (a plan and work). Here's another word for you to consider: IDEA. Nothing can begin without that. Ever have one that you thought was unique? Sure, you have. But, how could you have your idea make money for you? You couldn't think of a way so you probably gave up, right? Another good word to ponder is passion. What excites you? What specifically do you most want to do? What hobby, desire or dream project really gets you cranked up?
Cam you see where I'm going with all this? Before you can be successful you first need to have something you're passionate about. That one thing is the IDEA. The next thing you need is a PLAN to implement the idea. Then, once you begin your passion should energize you to WORK until you achieve your goal (success).
So, let's say you've put pen to paper and written down your IDEA (the one you're passionate about). Did I mention that you should do that? You have already? Great!
Now let's figure out a plan to get it off the ground. You say, "that's where the problem is?" You haven't been able to figure out a way to get started?
But you do have the idea, the passion and you're willing to work hard to get it going? Well, that's all you need at this time! Now we can really get started. Click HERE< to continue.
