I cirtainly do agree with your particular point of view on the matter, too often have i walked into a shoe store at 3:40pm to find that the storeman is out the back finding a shoe for the one other guy, and although i sit there and patiently i am continuously passed by with a small amount of recognision. all i want to know is which shoes are made of kangaroo leather other than this one..... is that a difficult question that is going to prevent you from ever closing up? i wouldnt have thought so. I do remember working for Myer, and of course on a day where you have just had enough you dont particularly want to help anyone, but you work out a system. muck around with your team mates to take a bit of the stress off. it might not mean that the shelves get dusted but atleast to the customers your all apearing vibrant. but at the end of the day.......a little recognition would be wonderful and would go a long way.
