Putting Value on Google Adsense

If you have a website or if you are planning to create one, then Google ad sense is a must. Because so many people haven't really played around with adsense they are at loss income wise. The trick for ad sense is to get exposure. So many people are trying to make a fortune off of one site. I was always told not to put my eggs in one basket. There are so many ways these day to get exposure to your Google ads its almost unacceptable to claim ignorance. If you have a blog then you need to place Google ads on your blog’s so your visitors can start earning income for you. Another great trick with adsense that you can do very easily is the use of search engines. If you add a search engine on your blog and customers go through your search engine to shop online you can make allot of money very quickly. Many people don't have an adsense account or don't know where to go to sign up for one. Let me clear the confusion you can simply do a search for Google adsense on Google and sign up for an account. You can also go to blogger.com to create your own Google blogs

There are also tons of social networks out there that will allow you to link your adsense account with their site. If you profile is very interesting then people who view your page may also find interesting ads on your page. The more friends you have on particular social networks will increase your likelihood of having friends click on your Google ads. Just by having 10 people simply go through your search engine on a particular blog or website you can make anywhere between $60 and $100 in less than 15 minutes. Imagine if you had 1,000 people using your Google search engine and clicking on Google ads. The money you can make is limitless. The only limits you have are the limits you set. To maximize Google ads sense you need to maximize your customer base, make your website, page, or blog interesting. People online are searching for answers to problems you just need to have the solutions.

Making Money Online

We have all seen the "get rich quick" scams online there are literally millions of them now and we have all come to ignore them! Fair enough. However the other day I was reading a Triond article about how money is easy to make online we all just need to realize it isn't meant to be a living! A side income is easy enough to make as Triond does for many of us! I am going to outline some ways in which you will not get rich quick without serious investments which most of us aren't in a position to do. As for specific sites other than Triond for making money with these methods will have to be found by you as this is just an explanation of how not where!

Paid-to-Click We have mostly all tried it and not gotten good results! Paid-to-Click is only beneficial if you have around 500 dollars to spend on it. However a few sites offer lower payouts which can be reached by one persistent person but is really not worth the effort!

Blogging, some people make it big blogging, one person out of 10 thousand. Starting a blog with the intention of making 100$ a month is extreme and very unlikely to happen, although starting a blog or publishing a lot of articles on Triond it is realistic to aim for 20$ a month making Triond ideal as you don't need to reach a minimum payment of 100$ or what have you for an advertising company and you are guaranteed to get paid!

Online investments, these are good if you have 20-30$ you can afford to lose you can double small amounts monthly but if you donate over 100$ they will steal it! Yes, that is the normal thing these days, under 30$ they are going to pay you to gain trust to rip you off when you try 100-500$ just be cautious.

Affiliate marketing, do not waste your time there are 10 people in each company making millions the rest are screwed.

Owning your own advertising or gaming site etc. This is a good idea as you are in control and decide how much money you wish to make online. If you are not code savvy you can always just buy a pre-installed script that you only operate. Owning is better then renting which most of the other services are!

Do you want to start an online business that does not include a blockbuster item you can sell through eBay or another successful drop-shipping site? Are you currently running a web site you have to pay for while pulling out your hairs trying to get several good visitors and earn a profit? Unless you provide a hot item that attracts lots of online searches and actually sells well, you will never receive more than a handful of visitors a day without wasting money on fraudulent advertising and you will lose money paying for your web site. You will learn how to avoid losing money on expenses and run an online business that brings you a profit of at least a few dollars each month.

If you are about to start an online business and do not have an item that is proven to sell well, do not pay for a web site. If you are already running a web site that brings few visitors and no sales, dump it. You will now invest your time in running free blogs.

Blogging is a magnificent tool. It can create a special buzz and attract far more good traffic than a traditional web site at no cost. A blog also lets you provide a business profile and personal profile that many people will read. One good blogging site is thoughts.com. A great blogging site is blogger.com. It gives you great control over your content and lets you provide any link, even one that has dashes.

Once you create your blog with Blogger, you will need to focus on increasing your traffic and attracting good prospects without blowing money on advertising. As you write a blog entry to post, type an exciting title pertaining to your business in the title box. Include a good, brief description regarding your expertise in the main content field. Type keywords from the first paragraph of your blog entry into the box that lets you provide labels your target market will use to find you. Another good way to increase traffic is to submit articles regarding anything you have expertise in with good grammar and punctuation to Ezine Articles, Go Articles, Idea Marketers and Self Growth.

Include your link in the bio/author’s resource box. Once you register with Self Growth, you can request to open a free expert’s account which will let you highlight your credentials and provide numerous links for various categories.

You can also use your expertise to make some sales. Publish books for free at lulu.com. Make sure the cover has a title in which each letter is easy to read and an image that looks great. It is best to use a Times New Roman font for the entire book to provide a great format and book preview. Provide the links to your books on your blog.

We will now discuss how you can consistently earn money with your blog. The first thing you can do is register with Triond and Associated Content, two sites that directly pay you according to how many views the articles you submit to them attract. Every time you publish a new article with one of them, provide the link to the article on your blog. You can post a clickable link by typing in a word or link, highlighting it and clicking the “Link” button.

The second thing you can do to earn money is to use an affiliate program. Register with sites such as Send Earnings, Snap Dollars and Survey Savvy. After registering, include your affiliate link that pays you for valid referrals on your blog. Always test your links before you publish your blog content.

Use what you have learned here to avoid wasting money on expenses and have an online business that increases your revenue!

Website Review: Paid Opportunities by Tori

Tori's Paid Opportunities blog is just what I want...a list of ways to make money on the internet. Tori recommends sites and money-making opportunities, she exposes scam sites and opportunities, and she breaks news. All you could ask for, and it's a free site.

No Cost

You won't be asked to spend a dime to visit, so you have nothing to lose by checking it out. And you'll be amazed at some of the things she spotlights.

Voices of Experience

As a bartender turned work-at-home mom, Tori practices what she preaches, writing for her blogs and collecting advertising revenue, while trying out the various opportunities that present themselves. Paid Opportunities is just one of several blogs she has started and profited from using advertisers who pay her a commission on ad revenue resulting from readers clicking through to ads posted on her site. And, yes, she does talk about how to profit using Google AdSense in your blogs and websites.

As a Content Provider (writer) for Associated Content (AC), her writings include tutorials on how to maximize your results with your AC articles.

Between her blog and her AC articles, I've recived valuable guidance me as I expand beyond my own revenue-production by writing for Triond, Gather, and AC.

They've led me so far to such revenue-producers as Hits4Pay.com and Gather. I expect to refer frequent to Tori's blog as a primary resource as I continue to expand my revenue-producing activities.

Critic, Not Promoter

Tori writes with honesty and integrity. Although she does profit from those interested in sites she has joined herself, not everything is a love letter. She does point out the sites that don't deliver what they promise, invaluable information.

Tori looks at all sorts of businesses. As I said, she has tried out many herself. She talks about profiting off of blogs, getting paid to read emails, writing sites like AC, and more.

As a blog, the stories are organized as published on a month-by-month basis. There's also a listing of the latest topics in the left column followed by a listing of Opportunities by Category, an archive of past month's gleanings, and more.

This is simply an invaluable resource for those internet users who want to try and supplement their incomes by using some of the opportunities available online. And Tori is your guide with her Paid Opportunities blog.

Check her out at www.paidopps.blogspot.com

10 Ways for Restaurant Owners to Expand Their Customer Base

The second restaurant that I owned was in low income area; however, there was still an untapped market that lived miles behind me that lived in 10,000 square foot homes on these huge plantations. The question was how was going to let them know?
I was lucky in that, I had a mix of both kinds of customers so I had to rearrange my menu to satisfy the likes of both groups.

My menu ranged from an 8" sub for $4.99 to a 14 oz Strip Sirloin for $18.99. I had something to satisfy every one's taste and wallet.

These 10 steps may not work for everyone; however, if you own a small mom and pop pizzeria, café, deli, etc, these are great ideas to bring in the bodies and boost sales.

Make your menu affordable to everyone. Don't leave anybody out

Lunch time is usually a time for customers to get in and out. You'll always want specials on the board that are quick and easy; and cheap. You need to produce efficiently to get the customers in and out as quickly as possible.
Dinner time is a more relaxed experience for customers. They will take their time when choosing menu options and they will look at a wider range of choices. It is always a great idea to offer options that range anywhere from $7.99 for a Spaghetti &Meatballs to a Heavy NY Strip for $18.99. You are, therefore, opening the menu to different customers and wallet sizes.

Advertisement on a Local Radio Station

If you can find a local radio station, usually it ends up being an AM station to advertise for you, it will significantly boost your sales. I did this with an AM station every Monday morning. The disc jockey would ask me questions about specials, my background, location, menu items, do we serve alcohol, etc. I was allotted a time slot for every week. I would often mention specials for the listeners and as soon as I hung up the phone, my phone lines would blow up before I was even open for business. The cost to me was around $170.00 a month. That's a fraction of funds compared to advertisements in local newspapers or magazines. I had drones of people coming in to meet me that heard me on the radio.

Lucky Rock Bags

This was about the most powerful forms of advertisement for me. Take a box of sandwich bags, put a river rock in the bag to weigh it down, and include your menu, a coupon, upcoming specials, and locations. You throw these out on people driveways. The typical reaction when people call is that they received a bag in their driveway and this was the first time they were trying the restaurant or heard of you. Unfortunately, you will have a choice few that will be upset that the bag that actually landed in their driveway was purposively thrown in a bush or on their perfectly manicured lawn. I usually shrug these people off since they have never worked a day in their life in a restaurant. After all, we have free speech and this is a way for you to get your name out. That's all I tell them.

Participate in Food Competitions to increase customer base

I have participated in these for a couple of years now and the feedback you get is incredible. There are hundreds of people that are walking around trying local fare. You can meet and greet the locals, tell them about yourself, and hand out menus. It's also a great way for potential customers to sample your items before they visit your location.

Write a blog to gain customers

There are so many resources available on the web for you to write about your restaurant. Most of the time these websites are free and they will get the word out about specials you're running, location, menu items, and other pertinent information about your particular restaurant. Some of the best websites for blogging on restaurants is chowhound, cooks, and pizza.com.

Have a Newspaper write an Article

I had one of the most popular newspapers from the area do an article about the restaurant in January 2007. They interviewed some of my best customers from my base and asked them to put their two cents in. They took a picture of me cooking in my chef jacket. The article was a lovely rendition of my life as a chef, my background, and my favorite items to cook. Trust me, it worked. I was still busy 6 months after the article came out. This was due to the fact that I retained a new customer base and customers were traveling for 2 hours to get to my restaurant.

Make a club and Email List

I formed a pizza of the month club. I would provide the customers with an XLarge specialty pizza, 6 garlic rolls, 2 desserts, 2 salads, and one appetizer for $39.95 twice a month. It's your club, so you can do what you want to. Be creative. You can create an email list within this club to let your customer base know the monthly specialty pizza or upcoming events.

Wine Tastings

Depending on your clientele, this is an extremely lucrative way to have other streams of income coming in. This is, of course, is dependent on if you have a Beer and Wine License. You can combine your food with the type of wine the wine guy has brought for tasting. This does take some more extensive planning but, on many occasions, I have taken in $75.00 a head for a night of food and spirits.

Cooking Classes

Provide classes to your customers each week about a particular aspect of cooking, a technique, a type of cuisine, etc. This can be worked around your restaurant hours. This is a great way to develop relationships with your customers.

Catering

This is a lot work and often times you need a lot of employees to help. You need a form of transportation that will safely transport the food without diminishing the quality. This requires planning and knowledge. Knowing the portions sizes for a certain amount of people; remembering every item to take with you for service. I have worked with one of the top Catering Executive in the Country. I have extensive experience in this field of expertise.

Tips for Starting an Online Business

"If you code it, they will come". It's an adapted philosophy, but a realistic one none the less. Starting a business, online or not, is a serious undertaking. The question: "Should I start a business?" is a respectable question, but unfortunately, an incorrect one. "Should" = uncertainty, uncertainty in the business world is the first step towards failure. There is no pussyfooting around the issue of quitting your job and being your own boss. And the remediable tasks that may have been bestowed upon you at you're regular work can not cloud you're judgment when you are deciding to open your own business. You will be doing all the work!

Have I scared you enough? Let's talk about the first steps:

First off, if you are 100% serious about starting a business, specifically an online one, I congratulate you. You have already laid down the foundation. The things you must remember about running ANY business, just starting out, or being a seasoned pro are these:

Never lose your determination

Set goals

Be realistic

NEVER QUIT

It's simple in the sense of saying, but almost impossible to stick by in the beginning.

It's a proven fact that most businesses close their doors within the first year. A lot of it has to do with poor financing, unrealistic goals, or a lack of interest. Keep this in mind when you are struggling through the first year.

Since you are utilizing an online business, there are a number of positives and negatives in terms of the first steps in making you're business a successful one.

Positive

Know you're business. Is it retail based, service, etc?

Know you're product. What are you selling or offering?

Know you're customer. Who are you selling to? What age group, Gender, nationality?

Negatives

Don't be biased. Never market to one particular group of people

Don't pay outrageous hosting fees for you're website

Make site readable and easy to follow

The last one sounds easy, however, it's not. This one takes a while to tweak, and since you are just starting out, you may want to add an e-mail ability that allows users to write comments about the site itself. What do they want changed, added? Remember, the site is for the customer, you may think it looks horrible, but the overall site construction should be a representation of what you're customers want. Start out with a site template, work from there.

I hope these steps can help you understand the process you are going to be getting into. I have complete respect for people who are wishing to break the chains of traditional workmanship and forge their own path. I did it.

Four Easy Money Building Ideas

When was the last time you heard someone turn down a great opportunity for easy money? With the advent of the internet, finding quick cash has become extremely easy. This article will only focus on four ideas among millions, so read on, after all, that's what you're here for in the first place, right?!

Plasma Donation

Have you ever given blood? It is a great way to donate and truly have an impact on the lives of others…but it is 100% donation. Nationwide there are agencies that will PAY YOU to donate blood plasma. You show up at the clinic, fill out some paperwork, have a small physical exam and start the donation. In less than two hours you are walking out the door with a paycheck that is the equivalent of $15 per hour or more. Since you can donate up to two times weekly, that translates to almost $300 a month or $3,600 EXTRA INCOME for the year!

Is that not enough? Ask your agency about referral programs. Many clinics will offer an incentive of almost $30 for every person you refer to donate plasma. One person each month would bring in an extra $360 for the year making a net $4,000 overall!

For a select few who become ill, there are agencies that pay up to $200 per donation! For one month I had mononucleosis. Thankfully it was asymptomatic and I was able to donate plasma for research purposes. My college tuition was paid in one month of donations alone as they paid $100 an hour. The best part is that it COSTS NOTHING but your time.

Start a Blog

You don't have to be a journalist to make money these days. With the world wide web offering a corner of the net through blogs, everyone can contribute. The keys to a successful blog are the following:

Write about topics that are interesting to you

Centralize your blog around one theme

Regularly add new content

Make it fun

The payment part comes by adding advertising to your blog. Programs such as Google Adsense, will customize the ads to match your content, thus increasing your revenue. To see my blog, read how its content is centered on one theme, and has regular updates that interest my readers, go here. Do not expect to build thousands overnight. As you continue to develop your blog and as more people learn of it, you will see greater success.

Pocket Change

Although it is rather obvious, people don't always save their pocket change. It either ends up in some little box at the end of the grocery counter or spent on the next day's paper. A few cents can go a long way. Imagine what this pocket change, set aside every day, could add up to. For calculating purposes we will use $1.00 to average the built up coinage in your pocket. Some days you may have less, and others more. If you don't have the change, PAY YOURSELF $1.00 every day. Take the change or self-payment and put it into a jar, box or other container that does nothing but sit there to collect your money. At the end of a year, you will have amassed $365. No biggie, right?

Imagine that you invest this money into an index fund such as the Vanguard Total Stock Market Index (VTSMX) which has averaged 10% returns annually. At the end of your first year, at this rate, you would have approximately $400. Continue to do this and by the end of your second year, your $400 with the new $365 would accumulate to $1,214. In ten years this would be almost $7,000! In the beginning it may not seem like much, but for only a few cents a day, properly invested, you could begin to see great returns.

Write for Triond

Triond is a relatively new program that offers monetary compensation for individuals who share their knowledge in text, photo, video or audio formats. What could be greater than getting a deserved two cents for your two cents? Simply join the triond community, develop your thoughts and share your message. Triond will take care of the rest by setting up your webpage and advertising.

Users who are interested in what you have to say can find your information through search engines and ultimately land on your page. Triond takes their cut for offering the service and you get your cut for sharing your knowledge. You talk about your interests all the time, why not write about them and make a little money too?!

The numberless ways to earn a few extra dollars would take a long time to write about and read. In an effort to provide you with some of the best that I have found, they are condensed to provide easier access so you can get your share too. Click here to visit The Thin Wallet Blog for other money saving tips and tricks.
