Investors are already scared of taking risks and start up companies stop looking for other funds when they reach the first step. This may be due to some factors like the economy today, which is not doing good, the war between Iraq and U.S., political stability and terrorist issues. Investors today are more careful, expect more returns and more of the security wise.

The article says that there are a lot of patents pending in Japan Europe rather than the U.S. This may be because the rules of patenting in Japan and Europe are not the same as in the States. I have read in one of the articles that Programs are definitely protected by copyrights. However, there is no basis for protecting the ideas and algorithms by copyrights; patents can only protect these. In the US and Japan the numbers of software patents, which protect software ideas and methods, are now increasing rapidly. Japanese lag behind the US and EC in terms of holding basic patents, and this has been a major reason for the frequent payment by Japanese companies of settlements and damages stemming from patent disputes.

Early adopters of e-commerce spent a lot of money trying to draw online shoppers through their virtual doors. Many were able to generate traffic. Some even generated revenue. But nowadays, only a handful attracted the popular repeat customers that mark a successful e-business. This may be because money is more secure with the catalog - based companies rather than giving out your credit card numbers online. There are more and more hackers growing everyday therefore, there are more and more credit cards being hacked everyday. Web-based companies should create programs to secure their sites from hackers.

History states that the earliest definitions of PR were established by Edward Bernay (2007). Bernay defined public relations as an act of management that functions to account for public attitudes, defines the procedure and policies of interest to a firm or organization followed by creating a program of action to gather the understanding and acceptance of the general population. Public relations have many users. For instance, many corporations use public relations in the sales departments. Individuals who manufacture information to the public about these goods and services participate in public relations services as well. Typically, the sales are supported for a segmented market of potential buyers. Corporations also use PR in search of favorable tax, and other treatments by legislators and politicians (2007). Individuals portray themselves as the supporters of the public, last, politicians are common PR representatives.

Picture this: Most communities in the local areas have established a forum for that area. Frequently, a meeting may be called upon to address some of the concerns of the surrounding area. Issues such as neighborhood watch and new project plans of the city are almost always major factors of concern. This is a personal opinion about PR. On yesterday, the eye catching news featured a topic addressing a concern for an expansion of Green Acres Cemetery. Apparently, the city has expressed a desire to broaden the boundaries of those properties out past the Forrest Park Community. Therefore, shortening some of the tenants yards had become an issue.

The day prior to hearing this news, a well dress gentleman was patrolling the neighborhood with a clip-board in hand during the earlier parts of the afternoon. Prospectively gathering signatures, he was educating the community dwellers as to new and up-coming events being brought forth by the city. This gentleman has to gather facts and increase the public awareness of the research he has encountered about the vicinity. In order for the community to gather actions for an up-coming appeal, much work and research must be done to complete the process.

Global public relations take place on a larger scale on a grandeur scale. Before considerations are made to do business abroad, first keep in mind that international industries are slower than they are perceived to be. Unsuspecting challenges are oftentimes the issues in creating a global campaign. Because PR is a “service business,” according to Segal, N. (2007), as companies' branch abroad the trend is to hire PR firms that have a global capacity. Truth be told, the larger the firm the better the chances to success. Public relations professionals are those candidates which help corporations define and transmit communication strategies (Segal, N. 2007). Professionals are encouraged to reach out and stretch there skills. Communication skills are heightened through e-mail, telephone conversations and correspondence through clientele. The power of communication is important to maximize benefits.

In conclusion, there are many reasons as to why there are so many definitions of public relation. These reasons are due solely or in part to a process. The concepts pertain to an individual or firms prospects to promote a meaning of goodwill. Obtaining and gathering reliable news is the initial process of action. These attributes should be accomplished through proper ethical decisions to maintain a moral state of honesty. With that being said, public relations have the uncanny ability to assist an organization and its publics with adapting simultaneously to each other.

We see how every CEO in America gets a lucrative deal when they sign their contracts, it doesn't matters if in the end the are lousy at what they do or if the company files for bankruptcy ,these people always get paid millions.

I know a lot of talented people who give the blood, sweat and tears for their job and are productive, but it's time to save money those are the first to go and with the knowledge that they have and experience they can't get another job doing what these know, they have to try and get jobs in other venues .

It doesn't matter that you have a college degree or a master degree or even a doctorate , they still have to do back check and drugs test and in the end they give you the excuse that you are over qualified for the job. I now I'm over qualified for the job, but in the mean time I need to pay my bills and no job is to menial as long as I can receive a pay check.

I'm an English teacher and I have a provisional license and I have more than 10 years of experience and I can't get a job even though the state I'm in has the lowest school average in the country, and I can't get a job as a steward custodian( dish washer for those who don't get my drift).

So until the next time don't give up hope on finding a job that makes you feel part of a team or the job you have studied for and sacrificed for, just remember always study something else(plumber, electrician, a/c technician computer programmer) just in case you lose your job and are to over qualified for another.
