Experience Resumes: How to Write a Good Resume

Experience resumes are resumes that show you have the skills and abilities for the job at hand. Experience resumes also show that you know how to write a resume and get a job. They are professional resumes that attract the attention of anyone who reads them.

Experience resume tips include a variety of things including sufficient content for your resume pages as well as good introductory cover letter content. Good resume and cover letter layout, without too much wording is also good for experience resumes. Another thing that catches peoples attention when it comes to resume writing and experience resumes are the format and the font. There are actually certain types of fonts and layouts that catch peoples attention better than others.

This is a type of advertising and marketing format, that is incorporated in resumes to draw the most attention. When it comes to writing a resume, these are all things that should be considered and incorporated into your resume.

Industries require different content layouts for each, so sometimes it can be time consuming and difficult to create a resume. I know a lot of people hate writing resumes and have no experience resume understanding, and thus, because of this, struggle in life, getting the job that they need. Their options are either, spend thousands on a professional resume writer to get it written for you, or spend thousands of hours, trying to find out what goes in a resume for a specific industry. This is what makes resume writing so difficult.

How to Become a Millionaire by Looking in Your Backyard

Ok, lets start off with some simple steps. Keep in mind that I'm not an expert in this field. There are very advanced guides out there for people that are really into this. This just covers the basics.

Step One

Make sure you're prepared for the long haul. This procedure to a millionaire is going to take time (and, as we learn later, money). This can be very fun, but also very disappointing if you get a run of bad items. All you have to do is have a couple hours in a week open to go find stuff.

Step Two

Buy a metal detector. Now there's literally thousands of metal detectors to buy. All you really have to spend is maybe $150.00 for an ok one. Just make sure it is water proof(most are) and has little or no problems. Just make sure that you are comfortable with your buy, because this is the main component for your quest to become a millionaire.

Step Three

Find a good place to search through stuff. Some popular places are your backyard. Its mostly popular because its so accessible. This is an ok spot, but definitely not the best. Other popular places are near the beach because people tend to lose a lot of valuables there. The problem for most people is that they don't live close to the beach. One more popular place is near shallow water. The beach is not really preferred because I don't think you want to be pummeled by waves. The best place is in a lake or a river, preferably. You can also get creative where you search at. Just think, where do you see a lot of people go buy daily near you, The answer is also that for where you should detect.

Step Four

Know what to look for. Don't expect to search for shipwrecks with tons of gold in and silver on them in shallow water, because, chances are, there aren't. You will mostly find penny's and other coins, but don't worry, you will find something more valuable. The real things you are looking for are gold and silver necklaces or gold and silver coins. There is that VERY slight chance that you will find something VERY valuable. These coins or necklaces are mostly from the old ages, dating back to the civil war era, or even earlier.

For motivation, just keep in mind that you can always become that one guy, who found the most valuable coin in the world, and got rich!

Good luck!

Starbucks: Mocha Latte Grande Overkill

The economy must not be getting any better as Starbucks the coffee house on every American corner has announced plans to close 600 locations.

Free Starbucks Coffee

171 Starbucks

I can tell you why Starbucks is feeling the pinch and that is due to the fact that they over expanded a few years ago. Now it is time for them to rein in the stores that are making money and cut the non-profitable stores off the company payroll.

Yes, it is true that Starbucks is feeling the recession like everyone else but their prices are not attracting the working class consumer who is trying to just get the mortgage paid every month. Coffee may be seen as a luxury and something that is cut first from the family budget.

Sheila at Starbucks "Working"

Interestingly enough as I scanned the list of stores being closed in my city, I noticed that all of the affected stores are in working class neighborhoods. There are not any affluent Starbucks coffee shops on the list in my region.

In my own neighborhood, we have three Starbucks within half a mile of each other and they are not hurting for business. The patrons driving their expensive automobiles gladly stand in a long line and pay the inflated price for a decent cup of coffee.

Still it is obvious that over the last few years Starbucks has over-saturated the market.

Not only have they opened stores on every block but they also have kiosks in many grocery stores. Often there will be a grocery store kiosk and then a full-fledge Starbucks right across the street or even next-door.

Then again perhaps it is just bad karma. After all didn't the Starbucks chain put the average coffee shop owner out of business a few years ago? Now it appears that the giant is feeling the same pain in the pocketbook as the little guy. I would like to feel some sympathy for Starbucks but for some reason I cannot turn on the tears.

It was pure greed that placed Starbucks in this belt-tightening position. Greed, glut and more money were the goals with a store on every block worldwide.

It doesn't take an advanced degree in economics to realize that too much of a good thing is simply too much.

How to Make Money Without Even Trying

Tired of planning ahead and of careful budgeting? Scarcely making ends meet monthly and can't keep up with endless credit card repayments? Or are the red letters stacking up? Then let's generate income without having to work for it.

As competitive markets in world economy gradually become fiercer, finding all possible means of destroying their respective competitors, you'll find that your pockets are gradually tightening up, not breathing freely anymore. There isn't any more time for abundance on frivolity, luxurious items or simply buying what you want to for no reason at all. You may have to hold out on that beige Victorian bath or the hovering paper-shredder with in-built mp3 player.

Current inflation rates at 2.5%, job-cuts and food prices sky rocketing on a daily basis greatly contribute to our everyday juggling, to a more financially restrictive lifestyle in respect to previous years; as Mervyn King (governor of the Bank of England) has said in his recent speech “Serious thinking and a willingness to contemplate radical changes are necessary”. He also said other things of a similar nature. Therefore, either adapting to or changing with the current economy becomes crucial in order to survive.

Plants need water, oxygen and light; Machines need electricity in order to function; the modern human being needs a reclining hydraulics-chair, motorized, with embedded dvd-player, internet access and optional Dictaphone. Some even spot the signs of a recession early, ready to retire to their underground bunkers where SPAM and other canned goods are plenty stocked. It won't be long before we'll be eating our dog's food, or dog food or indeed our dog. It may well make for grim times ahead.

Thankfully enough, due to extensive research and the powers of investigative journalism, there are ways which allow us to escape the rigid and cold reality of having to work all our lives for little money, like the slippery weasels that we are. No longer working to repay a mortgage which we will certainly not benefit from (i.e. death) or writing a cheque signed “You see what I did there”. We will work together on things you could do to drastically improve your net income without having to work hard at it, and generating much more money than if you were.

The first thing is having rich parentage. This of course ensures that some of the wealth is distributed accordingly. This guarantees you money without having to move very much. Failing that, you could try applying for Government funding for a project which is based on "Ethnic Integration in modern society" or similarly entitled, this almost always guarantees funding from local Governments; should Government employees enquire about said project simply reply "The previous occupant has moved, I am just a tenant". Use some adequate apparel, such as a blonde wig or a colourful apron, should the authorities ever make a visit.

Another sure way to get large amounts of cash is sponsorship. Of course, with the advent of the internet this could also involve very little work, especially when instructing children to copy and paste text. For instance, post your proposal of a sponsored event in forums or newsgroups, widely frequented websites are also hugely profitable. An example of a good sponsored event is "Non-broadcastable and undocumented walking race": it will draw enough attention because it sounds interesting, yet people will not demand to see it.

These are some simple and fun ideas on how to make money fast without hard-work. Remember: Keep it fun-tastic! Some may work for you; some will simply be as futile as just sitting down reading this article. But one thing is certain: you will have had bundles of fun in the process, almost as much as I have had in making a profit from you reading this article.

Tricked you: now go and work so I can earn some money.

Eight Ways to Market to Women and Make More Money

Do you have a product or store that caters to women? If so, it's important to create a convenient and pleasant shopping atmosphere. The woman of today has numerous demands on here including a job, child care, household management, and a myriad of other activities. She needs fast and convenient service. If you can accommodate the needs of today's modern woman, you'll be rewarded with significant sales. Here's how to attract more women to your store or product:

Make your displays easy to access.

It's important that your merchandise be accessible to her. A woman may navigate through your store with a baby carriage or a child in tow Are you aisles sufficiently wide to accommodate this? It's important that your displays be kept at eye level. She doesn't want to have to crane her neck to see what you have to offer. Be sure to have wide aisles in your store so she comfortably push a baby carriage along while she looks.

Make your store a lively and dynamic place to shop.

There are a variety of intangible reasons women shop in certain retail stores. It's not just price and selection that attract her. She wants to shop in a fun and personal environment where she can feel comfortable. She also wants access to salespeople whom she feels she can trust to help her make smart buying decisions. You can bring her into your store by hiring friendly, outgoing sales people and creating a pleasant, upbeat environment that makes shopping more fun and less of a chore. This is her escape from the responsibilities of her busy schedule. Make it easy for her to shop and enjoy herself at the same time.

Give her the extra conveniences she wants and needs.

Women on the move don't always have time to drive around looking for parking to come into your store. Make sure there's adequate parking close to your store. If you're open at night, make sure your parking lot is well lit. Do you have clean, easy to access restrooms with a baby changing station? These are all factors that influence a woman's impression of your store. Shopping at your store should be fun and convenient.

It's important that your merchandise be accessible to her. A woman may navigate through your store with a baby carriage or a child in tow Are you aisles sufficiently wide to accommodate this? Are your displays low enough to be at her eye level? She doesn't want to have to crane her neck to see what you have to offer. Keep the aisles wide and displays at eye level and she'll love you for it.

These are all factors that influence a woman's impression of your store. Shopping at your store should be fun and convenient.

 Indulge her with some extras.

On a hot summer day, have a glass of cold tea available for your female customers. Slip some samples into her bag when she checks out. Have someone help carry her bags to her car if she purchases a lot. Little thing like this can mean the difference between a one time customer and a lifetime customer. Get her contact information when she makes a purchase and follow up with a handwritten thank you card. Little things mean a lot to her!

Get to know a little about her.

Women like to have relationships with the retail stores they purchase from. Encourage your sales people to remember the names of your female customers and greet them personally when they enter the store. A woman will keep returning to a retail store where she feels she's being given personalized service.

Have special events and promotions designed for working women.

Sponsor a monthly "shop until midnight" event to give working women a chance to visit your store and get their shopping done. They may not have the time to shop during the week. How about scheduling fashion shows, trunk shows, and special guest appearances? This can bring in a great deal of female traffic.

Give some of these ideas for marketing to women a try and find out quickly you develop a following among your female customers.

How To Diversify Your Investments

If you are an investor, you should never invest you should diversify. If a financial advisor tells you to put all of your money in stocks, and in a stock, then you should say no. No matter how good those stocks appear, say no to that financial advisor.

In addition, you should never put all of your savings, all of your monies into stocks or investments. You should have a formula of how much you can afford.

You should decide how much percentage of your income, including royalties, etc. goes into an investment portfolio.

Let's say you decide to invest 20% of your monies, then you should diversify that 20%.

If you are new to investing, then your first investment might be a mutual fund that diversifies the investments for you. A percentage of the monies earned by your mutual fund stays in the fund to reinvest, a percentage goes into a savings account, and a percentage goes into stocks and bonds investments.

You can in addition research other investment possibilities--art, collectibles, coins, stamps, etc. Other types of investments include:

bonds

commodities

bank investments

treasury bills

foreign currencies

diamonds, rubies, sapphires, emeralds

gold, silver, platinum

foreign stocks and bonds

foreign mutual funds

real estate investing

land investing

oil

annuities

However, you should make sure that you do not allow any financial advisor to advise you to invest more than you can afford. Perhaps the financial advisor truly believes that their investment advice is great advice, nevertheless you must decide as an investor how much you can afford, and you should have an investment budget, and very strict formulas.

In addition, you should continue to learn as much as you can about investments and money. There are many good books on this subject. Here are some of our recommended titles, available from Amazon.com :

The Abcs of Mutual Funds

Mutual Funds for Dummies

Diversity Your Mutual Fund Portfolio

Find the Right Mutual Fund

Everyone's Money Book on Stocks, Bonds, and Mutual Funds

Money Made Simple

Investing For Dummies

The Only Guide To A Winning Investment Strategy You'll Ever Need
