Entirely new in U.S.

Smart (the car brand) has never been in the American market for any car they have made. They are going to focus on Europe where they have sold more than 750,000 cars out of all the models they have made.

No crash test yet...

The only problem with this car is that if you're in a car crash, you're at a disadvantage. It has not undergone crash tests in U.S. so it will currently only be bought in Europe. The results of the test are expected to be done by October.
