Debunking Drug Trades

Drug dealers that appear from nowhere like ‘poofs' of smoke, slipping it into hand luggage. A friend of a friend carried into your home on an ocean of whispers with a kilo of whatever. Faceless gangs smuggling out of Bequia, Istanbul, guadoloupe, Antigua, Colombia....these vague dealers, with backgrounds such in self employed manual labour...supposed raids on dead beaches on anonymous tip offs...cars stripped to the skeleton, and the trafficker held in customs enveloped in the defeated greed that burn through him like magnesium....but the start is long gone and the end out of sight....smugglers, Barons, streets gangs, narcotics agents, Interpol, contractors, addicts, casual users; if an empire is as influential and as huge as the nation's government it resides in where does the power lie? And why do we hear NOTHING of these power struggles between the corrupt and the so called incorruptible? This is old hat already, I am sure you know.

The idea that illegal drugs are grown in some impenetrable wilderness, farmed by colonized paupers and gangster barons, or derelict factories filled with greedy scientists, unseen and unknown, is the perpetration of a myth by various means, namely the media. All drugs manufactured on a large scale are subject to funding from international pharmaceutical companies, and various political-leaning conglomerates who have the boosting of a nation's economy at the bottom of their publicly unacknowledged black hearts. And the worlds governments have put down the same song and dance for decades; "we knew only so much....they do what there!?!"

Think of the damage exporting a flourishing drug/gun/mineral trade does to a countries economy. Then think of how it would benefit the economy of a receiving country. China is the reverse of this.

China houses one fifth of the worlds population and are rapidly expanding their economy after 40 years of near complete isolation from trade and tourism. It is mostly responsible for the manufacture of synthetic drugs which are bigger industry than cultivated drugs for reasons i will let you decide. Of course, the drugs trickle from East to West just like Buddhist philosophy in a highly appreciative embrace. Don't forget, the ‘War on Drugs' CAN'T start; really, until it hits home soil, until it crosses borders and jurisdictions. So the Chinese government has the balls to write its own meal ticket, they are most definitely not throwing into the European/American bureaucrat pot. The phrase "you crossed the line" springs to mind, and China remains significantly unpopular for doing so.

Now to the West; how do you know you're free if you're denied NOTHING?? Would you sacrifice said freedom for the freedom of a person in a (i say it prudently)'less liberal' society? Of course not. You can't imagine life without television or mobile phones. Westerners will travel through these countries and sign up for charity organizations for a year, then talk self-righteously for their whole life about said expedition and recycling. The seemingly endless renewal of the first world's economies and resources is levered by the gendered, racialized, brutalized boundaries of third world labour.
Now Consider that America wrote the international rulebook on illegal drugs. Consider their endless campaign(s) of mutant definitions, wars on nouns that could literally touch upon the liberty of anyone or anything, at any time.

Think of the world, this globalized, information hungry world that, via Satelite, can zoom in on your house, to old mom carrying the groceries in. Then consider how much more specific and advanced government technology is. Then consider in 2005 America spent 45.5 billion waging the war on drugs, and in 1998 the total cost of drug abuse in America alone was 143.4 billion. Quite good business for all those concerned, really, and getting better all the time i hear.

Now consider how much a military war on terror has cost, and big tobacco. And Alcohol. And fossil fuels. Then consider what you pay out each month - council tax, electricity, national insurance, water, mortgages/rents, credit cards, and now we're facing a recession-what? Where are the investors? If this money is not reaching the government then it is going to corporations, and what are they spending it on? There seems to be a lot of building up of new cities in the middle east-Dubai springs immediately to mind. Investment in high tourism on the brink of recession? You know that England amounts to 25% of Dubai's re-envisioning, right? A majority Muslim country at a time in which we are at war with terror and they are the principle threat....it seems that no government, with their obese, concealed economies, has the interest of its people at heart - but you knew that. America is the most self-righteous shit of them all, but you knew that as well, more so considering they have no national healthcare insurance, to boot. Well, i sympathize, but it would seem that to live in the home of the brave and free you would have to be prepared to dig your own grave. Or steal someone else's.

Maybe certain more ‘informed' people are preparing for disaster, and have been for a long time. They should know; they planned it. And what would you do if the four horsemen of the apocalypse rode into nearly every civilization and started tearing it to the fucking ground? Get in your private plane and ‘do one'. In the words of Johnny Rotten:"Do you ever feel like you've been cheated?" But by the time you start knowing that it will well and truly be too late.

How the Americans Won

On July 4, 1776, the Declaration of Independence was sent in to be printed. The Declaration of Independence, written by Thomas Jefferson, alerted the king and the colonists that the thirteen colonies were going to split from Great Britain. Not long after this, the Revolutionary War began. People across the world were ready to watch as Great Britain easily and quickly defeated the Patriots in the war. Little did anyone know at the time, this idea was very wrong. The war was won by the colonists and proved that the previous beliefs that Great Britain was sure to win very wrong. Instead of being short, the Revolutionary War was a long, bloody, and fierce affair. Despite that the rest of the world believed that the colonists could be easily conquered, the Patriots won the Revolutionary War by the outstanding leadership of George Washington, an American alliance with the French, and the determination that the Patriots had throughout the war.

After the American's triumphant victory at the Battle of Saratoga, the world knew that the Patriots had not yet given up on their chance for liberty. At this time in the Revolutionary War, the French joined the Americans as an ally. Having the French as a reliable ally turned the war around completely. With the French's assistance, the Americans gained many key elements that they needed to win the war. The first thing the French gave the Americans was a navy. The British had had the reputation of having the best navy in the entire world, and before the French became an American ally the Americans did not even have a navy. To fight off British ships, some Patriots who owned boats fought the British on the water. This was the closest to having a navy that the Americans were. The French's navy brought the Americans a sophisticated and well-trained navy. Another vital reason that

the alliance with the French brought America victory was because that they provided the Americans with money to help finance the war. The Patriots did not have any money because in the past, all of the colonies' money came from Great Britain. The French also provided the Patriots with proper training for the American soldiers and brilliant military leaders. Most of the American soldiers who fought in the war were just ordinary men who never fought a battle in their lives. The French trained these soldiers to fight properly. Lastly, the French provided the Americans with brilliant military leaders such as Francis de Lafayette. Leaders such as Lafayette brought the Americans strategy and dependable leadership. The French alliance with the Americans was an essential part of the American victory in the Revolutionary War.

George Washington is credited as a huge part of the American victory of the Revolutionary War. He was the general of the Continental army and led his army courageously through battles, starvation, and defeats. However, George Washington's motivation towards the sometimes crippled Continental Army kept them hopeful and provoked. Washington never gave up hope in his army and he almost died many times while fighting with them. In hard times, such as Valley Forge (when it was freezing cold, soldiers starved, and the morale within the army had sunken to an ultimate low). George Washington pushed the army through with his inspirational beliefs and actions, and he learned from his mistakes of past fighting to make the army stronger and smarter for fighting in the future. George Washington also helped get allies from other countries to help the Americans fight in the war which was a key element in the American over-all victory. A final reason that George Washington helped the Americans win the Revolutionary War was that he knew British fighting tactics and styles from the past French and Indian War. This was valuable because he was able to prepare his army for some of the strategies that the

British used in the past. George Washington was a key resource to the Americans in their victory of the Revolutionary War.

The Revolutionary War was not won in one single battle or with one single person as a leader. One of the most important aspects to the American victory of the Revolutionary War was simply that the Patriots knew what was at stake. They knew that if they lost the war they would still have to be subjects of Great Britain. They wanted their independence. Perhaps this alone, was the key element to their inspiration. The Patriots were willing to freeze, starve, and risk their lives for the chance to have liberty. The soldiers were fighting for their homes and for their families on their home land. For this reason, the soldiers were very motivated to do anything possible to not lose the war. On the contrary, the British soldiers were not fighting with the same inspiration. They were fighting simply because the king told them to fight. The British soldiers were not fighting for their freedom or their homes. It is for this reason that the British finally surrendered to the Americans. The British were tired of fighting and had lost their desire to be in America. They wanted to go home. The Americans won because of the passion they had in what was being fought for.

The Revolutionary War was a vicious and bloody war. 30,000 Americans who fought for independence died, and more then 50,000 British soldiers died. The world was left in awe as they heard the news that the Americans had defeated the most powerful army that existed. At this point, independence was no longer a dream to the colonists; it was a reality. Coming into the war, few people believed that the Americans could win, and without several vital factors they probably could not have.

With the help of the outstanding leadership of George Washington, the alliance with the French, and the determination that the Americans had to win the war, the American victory could not have happened.

The Darfur War and the Global Economy

There are places in the world that you can hardly forget like Uganda. This last country is in East Africa and has no opening on the Ocean. So, this makes it a landlocked country that needs to negociate with other countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Somalia and Eritrea to import goods by boat and there is the river Nile on which boats can sail from Cairo. Uganda is a very known country these days because of the conflit in Sudan.

This conflit is known as the Darfur war. Sudan is in the south of Egypte and that is where most of the rice plantation are. Probably thank to the river Nile rice is available in large quantities and it constitutes the major dish of the inhabitants in West Africa. The problem with rice is that it needs to be eaten reasonable other wise you gain weight which is difficult to loose especially if you don't do a lot of activities.

Rice is a major issue. That is all the question of construction of dams which have said to be destructive for plantation. Rice is sometimes transformed into an alchoolic beverage called sake and it is a produce from Japan. So, one may think that it is important to regulate to make sure that nobody get drunk and is treated in case of fetal alchool syndrom. Actually, the population growth in Japan slowed down in the nineties. Rice grows in water and in the mountains. The well known varieties of rice are from the United States of America and France. Rice is grown in the South of the United States of America in the states of North Carolina and South Carolina. France grows rice on its south west border with Spain a place called Camargue where horses run freely.

Thus, the war in the Darfur is an economical and social problem. Rice is a cereal and can accompany many meals. If the war continues in the Darfur there will be a food security issue. There is a need to control the cereal markets because they can often be stocked for a long time without preservatives and then some other ingredients can be neglected. This is a tragedy that happened everywhere in the world where populations thought that cereals when in large amount are able to cover all the food intake. It is good to know that there is some for eating and that all is not wasted in alchoolic beverages that can put society in danger because of risk of accidents for example and of wars.
